The Lonesome Sessions

DELK has taken the last several months off from playing live to focus on writing and recording new material.

The full length CD is underway and currently being recorded at Stay Tuned Studios in Jacksonville, FL. The preliminary mix of the new tracks sound awesome and the band is working diligently to finish the project by early 2011. The new CD, tentatively titled, “The Lonesome Sessions”, highlights superb local talent from the Jax music scene including John Lemaster on steel guitar, Dom Berti on Bass and Johnny Flood on saxophone. Stay tuned for further details.

Lonesome Highway - Demo CD

DELK is proud to announce the 2010 release of our new demo CD, "Lonesome Highway". The CD features 3 tracks recorded at Stay Tuned Studios in Jacksonville, Florida.

The title track, "Lonesome Highway" is a song that encompasses true Country grit and defines the sound of DELK. "Crazy Game", is a Southern Rock track that unveils a haunting story of real life decisions that play out the reality of living life in a crazy world. "Man on a Mission" is a funky-fied blues track that provides an entertaining Christian based tale while using historical events and characters to paint a picture for the listener.
