"Lonesome Highway", the debut CD from, DELK, is still in the recording process. Three tunes have been recorded thus far and have involved the collaboration of, Don Ringhofer on percussion, Dom Berti on Bass, David Williams on Lead guitar and Lisa Jackson on backing vocals along with Jud Strickland on lead guitar & Johnny Delk on Vocals and rhythm guitar. Strykly Delk

Strykly Delk is Delk's alter ego band, comprised of members; Johnny Delk [Vox; Acoustic gee-tar], Jud Strickland [Lead guitar], Dom Berti [Bass guitar] & Don Ringhofer [Percussion]. The acoustic gee-tar driven band was formed by Johnny Delk in 2008 as a result of Delk's need to deliver musical ideas that was not the same genre or musical style as, The Riff Raff. This provided Delk a vehicle for music creation that was delivered by a song writer versus a band collaboration. Strykly Delk is an American roots rock band that is heavily influenced by Country & Blues music. This ensemble can also be heard in the Northeast Florida area.

The Riff Raff

The Riff Raff is a multi-layered band comprised of members; Johnny Delk [Vox; Acoustic gee-tar], Steve Smith [Vox; Electric guitar], Scott Edwards [Bass guitar], Justin Chila [Percussion] & Jud Strickland [Lead guitar]. Each band member brings a vast difference in musical influence including Punk, Alternative Rock, Blues & Country music to the mix to create a style of sound that is basically a culmination of Southern Rock & Roll. The band was formed by Delk in 2006. The band can be heard and seen performing in the Northeast Florida area.

Back Stage

I am simply a musician at heart. A self taught singer, song writer & guitarist. Infact, I am a 3rd generation musician, preceeded by my father, Johnny Delk Sr. [Guitarist], and grandfather, Beecher Delk [Banjo & fiddle player]. I am the founding member of two local Jacksonville bands, The Riff Raff & Strykly Delk.
